Wanted to share one of the best experiences we had during our recent boat podding and renovation project with our fellow boater community.
As many of you know, it can be incredibly difficult to find someone you can truly trust — someone who genuinely knows what they’re doing and delivers top-tier workmanship. We spoke with two to three different upholstery shops beforehand, and unfortunately, the experiences were disappointing.
We ended up randomly finding Christine Halovich on Marketplace, and from our very first conversation, it was clear why she stood out. With over 20 years of experience in marine upholstery, her knowledge, attention to detail, and craftsmanship were immediately evident.
The quality of her work is exceptional — truly showroom-level. Unlike other shops where materials and colour options were limited or “out of stock,” Christine had solutions and delivered exactly the tones and finishes we were looking for, without compromise.
She’s based out of Maple Ridge, and with the off-season here and many of us prepping for spring, it’s worth reaching out sooner rather than later — she does book up for the season.
We highly recommend Christine for any interior or exterior marine upholstery work.
