Best bet for fish on July long weekend?

Im hoping to get a group to head out WCVI on July 2,3 ish to fish and we dont know which place to go.

Unfortunately our plans to do the Northwest fizzled so we'll likely now only have enough green to guide for one day and I want to make it count.

So I ask the much loaded question, which place should we go to? And how available (and average $$) should a guide be for a whole day in the area?

It'd be 3 guys and only 1 with any reel experience.

It's too bad that we are all booked up for those dates...... we could have shown your crew a great time and we love to teach. The folks i have over now are becoming very good at setting their own hooks and landing the fish...... 20 Springs to the boat yesterday

Almost anywhere on the west coast should be good then, make a few phone calls to places your interested in visiting. if it's port renfrew give me a shout and i'll hook you up. Good luck where ever you go.

Heavy c- Did you get my PM? Im available those days, Nootka's really good right now. Im just heading there for the weekend with some clients and leaving the boat there for the season. You dont want to miss this!

Hey come to think about it...while we're on the subject of guides...what about the Sooke dude that bought the old fourplay boat(darn can't find his link)...if i remember he specializes in pinks;) & is affordable too:D...sammy

Hey Chris, went to pull Seawolf out for the season and she did not move. I kinda had that feeling when I winterized her and she was hard to pull out. 6 years on the Drum Brakes, I guess is good, I wish I would have found out sooner. 2 days to get it all off, now waiting for parts to convert to Discs, gonna do another run to Pt Bob. $440 in town for 2 Backing Plates and 2 Drums. Since I am spending that much, I'm putting on Disc's, Rotors, Actuator, and new Brake Lines for $30 more. Once she is running I'll try to get you out. Anywhere offshore should get you Springs and Hali, wait to mid month until August inside Nootka. Pick a good day (light winds), dope everyone up on Gravol, and go offshore. 3 newbies in the swell, someone will puke and want to go to flatter water.
