Bella Coola Fishing

Hi I will be heading up to Bella Coola in the first week of September. Is the fishing any good in this area?

I take it by the lack of replies this is not a good area to fish?

may be some coho around... I've never fished it that time of year. Alot of the Springs will be up the river by then I expect...
The trip is worth it just for the scenery in that area. It's beautiful country....

We used to go to Bella Coola around the labour day long weekend but, have not gone since the big flood. Back them, the primary fish in the river was pinks with the beginnings of the Coho showing up. Springs were way up stream, pretty coloured up and for some reason many back channels held zombie Chum milling around. Stayed at Baily Bridge Cabins and the owner (Keith) had some fly fishing spots that produced Coho pretty well.
