Beef fat in prawn mix

I have about 4 pounds of brisket fat on the kitchen island counter.
I have enough rendered from last time and don't need candles or soap.
Anyone ever blend it into prawn bait?

One way to find out. I did ok using freezer burned beef for crabs.

Make a batch of 'beef bait', keep it separate and compare it to the other trap in the string with no beef.

Beef fat, prawn pellets, some dog kibble, a bit of water and fish sauce. Into the food processor after the 2nd string blender died. Lovely mousse.

Yes, but I need to save my acuity for counting to 125 while not throwing tails and keeping heads.

Follow up: Got about 200 spots and over 100 shrimp in 3 hour soak on one string of 2 pots.
Mostly smalls though.
Only set once, since the places I wanted to fish were in the opposite direction.
I put two bait jars in each pot. Each pot had pellets and cat food in one jar and beef mousse in the other.
Better than throwing the trimmings from a full brisket in the garbage I suppose. Can't say it helped or hurt.
