Welcome to the BC on the Move: A Ten Year Transportation Plan web site.
The B.C. on the Move Discussion Guide is now available to read or download. It includes an overview of B.C.’s transportation network, an outline of accomplishments over the past decade, challenges and opportunities that lie ahead and highlights of key strategies and actions.
Based on the content and the survey questions in the Discussion Guide, the public will be invited to provide feedback, online, starting Tuesday, October 14, 2014 until December 12, 2014 (closing at 4 p.m) Please check back on or after October 14, 2014 for the details of how you can participate.
Input gathered from this public engagement will be considered as government develops the new 10-year plan. The plan will be posted here in early 2015, and will set out a series of short, medium and longer-term priorities for government.

This is no Joke.... In fact it's very serious.
This is asking us to spend our money to support the High Carbon Economy.
For the less then 1% of the population of BC that works in this industry.
Sure they want to buy a few gallons of paint to mark off some lanes for bicycles as this will somehow make things green but it what most call "greenwash." The real dollars are for expansion for Coal, Oil & Gas and LNG. I would call them clowns but that would de disrespectful to the old art of face painting and making merry.

No worries, the financial pundits are all saying the cost of fuel is going to tank, just in time for the cunning BC Gov't plan to hinge the entire future of BC on Natural Gas. I would say situation normal, all screwed up.
