Barrel Swivels brands and Sizes

Hey guy's

I thought I would post a gear question, as I am tried of all the posts about fish allocation and slot sizes.

So here it is.

I want to rig my hootchies and needle fish hootchies with some #4 and # 3 owner swiash hooks I bought yesterday. What brand and size of barrel swivel do you recommend I use. I ordered some #4 175lb rated Sampo barrels, figuring that 175lb should be a giant swivel but I was wrong they are so small I can even get the hook eye through swivel loop. So I am tried of ordering only to find out that they are too small what do you use?

I would suggest bringing your hooks into any fishing store and comparing swivels in person and then if you want to order online or whereever then you'll at least know that they will work. sometimes the numbering and images online can be deceiving.

cheap nickle plated swivels are what you want not sampos go to tackle store as sugested and buy a couple dozen they will have many sizes to pick from

If you can get out to Steveston both Nikka and PN&T have good quality barrel swivels on sale for decent prices.
