Barkley Sound Missing Prawn Trap

well ,just got wind that my prawn trap string has disappeared , was left close to the Poett Nook entrance due to high winds last weekend , must have gone a drift , clearly marked orange 14.in. scottsman ,may be afloat somewhere in the sound , spoke to dfo , they did a check on monday in the area for unmarked traps , mine were not seen , if any of ya see traps around , could ya have a peek at it , it may be mine ,

Poor little prawnies must be starving if they've been stuck for that long.

Theft is minimal , especially this time o year , no one there...
prawns would all disperse once food was consumed , lol,,,

Searched from Bamfield to Sarita, over to Robbers an out to Satilite Pass today with no sign of your traps FD. Most likely at the pawn shop in Port by now, but I'll keep my eyes open.

hope ya atleast bonked a fish or 2 by the greener...

should of pulled it the night before the storm , my bad , lesson learned , i still truly believe it is about , might have gotten snagged up and pulled down ,
hope fully Mr Paul stumbles upon it , i think it got blown down towards Aherns hood , gusts over a 100 k that night ,
keep my fingers crossed , were great traps

if by chance they did end up in a shop anywhere , there somewhat unique ,
or atleast they use ta be , the black mesh is wrapped with Blue String to the SS rings ,

keep ur eyes peeled , small reward if turned up , no questions

they were Excellent producers... : (
