Well boys back from an awesome trip to bamfield and wanted to throw down a quick report as well as a huge thank you to tykkyt e blue a fellow member who answered my message and met up to lead me for my first time offshore. Thank you very much terry your a great guy.
Although we did try offshore we only caught some small guys.
We had all our luck inshore. Edward king was the hotspot for us and produced very consistently and we were totally alone most days? We did see tons of boats at Kirby but we only got pinners and didn't see much there. We also had good success at Beale but not as consistent.
Anchovies were the absolute ticket and out fished our gear 5-1 so we went strictly with those after the first few days. In the morning and evening we ran shallow 20-50ft and during the day found 60-80ft the ticket.
4 guys, 14 springs 10-24lbs - 12 coho 6-14lbs and we ate a couple small springs there which were fantastic eating.
Cheers guys and thanks for all the info over the years.
