Backing

Going to put new line on a few reels in advance of the upcoming season.

Wondering what people are using for backing.

most use 30lb fly line braided backing
or you can use dracon // black-white stuff in similar test

usually 100-200yds then top up with your mainline
just done all my reels last week
but using 60lb test power pro with a top shot of mono
instead of 25lb mono

 

[Fixit]

i use 1000ft of 60lb mono then 1000ft of 100lb power pro for my hali reels

mooching reels are all 420 some yards of 25lb mono
