Was invited along to attempt to get to the site of a RCAF plane crash near lake Cowichan, the wreckage and remains of fallen servicemen have been there since their ill-fated flight in 1944.. we were less then a half mile from the site some 2800 ft up in the mountains ... hope to return and make it to the site next month but this time the road proved impassable and the snow was too deep to try n hike in..

Beautiful shots Jeffy. This is a great day-trip that I'd like to take my sons on one day. I'll have to do some research and see about getting up there in Late Mya. Perhaps coordinate it with a bear hunt!

Was quite a climb ,and i would definately say bear territory..,would think by end of may the snow would have melted enough to reach it , i will be going back.
