Looking for some portable stairs to help my physically struggling dad get in and out of the boat. The boat sits flush to the dock but the step into the boat is very tricky for him. Anyone have any temporary stairs that you put in the boat to get him in and then I can throw them back on the dock of my boathouse after?
Appreciate you!

You can buy Rubbermaid 2 step for like 20$ , that’s what I use in my boat, and one step because my wife feet don’t touch the ground when in her seat 😂😂😂

Might be an idea to look at those aluminum fold up steps that are used for rv's. You can buy 3, 4 or 5 step, I think and cut to desired height. Fold up amd easy to store. Simple to attach to side of boat.

@Stizzla the DE 185 is one of the more annoying boats to get into. while there is a small step beside the rear seat, most opt to just step right on the seat itself which has prematurely worn out my vinyl. the additional issue is what to do with step once away from dock? not a lot of storage really.

i’m basically in the same boat as you ( no pun intended)

I can leave it on the dock in my boathouse which is definitely a plus!

@RiverBoy thanks for lighting the fire under my buttocks.
Just did another search and ended up going for this from Amazon:

Rated 330lbs non slip and folds up so I can hang it on a hook on the wall. I’m all set!
