Anyone fished Sooke this week?

Thinking about going out this weekend so I was wondering how its been from Church to Otter this week.

I managed a 24# and a 18# in box this morning before 10am from the Trap and one from the Head. Seems pretty slow still for the most part with so many boats out. I only saw 1 other fish come in all day, alot of fairly frustrated fisherman.Im out tommorow again. Good Luck!

Fished last night at Secretary and the Trap.... Fished for only a couple of hours (5:00 pm till 7 ish)... Nothing for me but I heard of a a couple caught (VHF)...down deep, around 90 ft. A few decent bait balls on the sounder.

Hacked it around the Shack from 530-1000 this am to no avail. Saw a couple of doggies and some bait but no smilies. Witnessed only one hookup but it was not landed.

Maybe the noonish tide change and afternoon will be better for others.

Fished the Head from 5:30 to 9:15 with no luck. Not many boats out around the corner as it was snotty. I didn't see anyone playing a fish. Next time...
