Anyone CV able to a little weld repair this weekend ?

Hey all,

Have a broken pedal off hydraulic lift for work, needs maybe a 1"x2" piece of flat stock (1/4-3/8) stitched on the piece I have.... Very simple, scrap piece, (2) 1" welds, and a quick grind. Doesn't have to be pretty, stick or MIG ?
Appreciate any and all help, not wanting freebie, beer/cash compensation.
