Anyone catching any small shakers while fishing winters

No.... Those were the smaller more tender ones. The 8 inch ones I cut plugged which didn't work so well so I used them to catch those massive lingcod that I gave to you. LOL

Seen a few small ones this year already around Hornby Is. Coho and Chinook. All under 8 inches

Thanks for the info guys, this is interesting stuff. Did anyone notice more Coho shakers in the Strait during their fishing last winter (later than December)? I am curious whether there is any evidence that all the Coho that spent the summer in the strait last year for the first time since 1994 had spent the previous winter in the strait as well..

Last year there were way more coho shakers. We couldn't keep them off.
