Anybody Ever Seen One of These Plastic Spoons?????

Thanks tubber--- got it narrowed down to Danielson, Les Davis, Pflueger and Hildebrandt--- they ALL were making those mother of pearl wobblers with rivets in the 60's-- the Japanese were also in the game.

But I haven't found a copy of the green glow one yet (plastic with rivets)-- so far, one of a kind

Hey Sharphooks, are you sure that baby glows? Have you charged it an looked at it with the lights out? How strong is the glow, and how long does it last? Because if it glows, that would mean it was made sometime in the last 15 years or so wouldn't it?

hey Wishin'--- that's a good point and I was thinking the same thing myself---doesn't seem like a 60's lure with the built-in glow---but yes, it definitely glows---it was the first thing I noticed and to make sure, I cupped my hand and parked my eyeball in the hole---pops right out at you in a dark place---not dipped---the whole body has it going on---thick flourescent curved plastic with rivets at either end.

This gal who showed me the lure sent me a picture last night---she has a small collection. The Mother of Pearl seem pretty common (ebay has several auctions going on) but the non-mother of pearl (glow) seem to be unique

Was she using them as a bracelet or a necklace?...She seems like a keeper

Jim Babalos was my next door neighbour for many years in Vancouver , his son Tom was good friends with me. I believe Tom is still doing the lures as a side job
