Wolf, when I click on the URL link below your Blue Wolf Charters name, nothing happens,I think you're missing the s at the end

Last I heard last week it was pretty slow down that way...get the odd smaller fish here and there. I know all the girls who work for the DFO doing the creel observations or whatever they call it now when they interview you and they all said barely any salmon coming in...couple halibut here and there.

They are hitting Hardy hard so I expect them to be down that way soon enough. This weekend my next door neighbor I'm sure will be out as well as a good family friend who has a cabin in Double Bay...I'll be sure to ask em how they do for ya wolf.

Cheers,
David

I don't fish for a living...I live to fish!

Fishing in McNeill has been SLOW. Fished Saturday for 1 20 lbs spring and a couple of hali's. On sunday, the creel survey gal checked 107 fisherpersons and 7 fish came in. Went to west coast on Monday and spoiled myself:D. Fished monday and nothing, very little bait and even less fish around. Talked with a few guys and nothing for fish. Telegraph had 17 hali's and 1 spring on the board for 4 days fishing.

Now that the boys up in Hardy are starting to hit them, they should be down here by this weekend, I hope....but the missus want to try this westcoast stuff this weekend, so we will see.

Deewar, you probably know this but I believe there is a corner of a triangular shaped RCA near Donegal so you have to pick your lines up for a few hundred feet before putting them back down and trolling on into Mitchell Bay. Enjoy!

ha...no, didn't realize that as I haven't been up that way for a few years - usually we start north corner of donegal and head west, never troll around to mitchell...I'll take a closer look if I do end up getting up there.

Thanks...

So can you 'troll' through a RCA when you are obviously targeting salmon, or is that in the nono book as well? Never fished near one, so haven't paid attention to the rules around it.

Im heading up to telegraph monday for a few days, hopefully it will pick up
