Depending on what you are looking for, you may want to check out U-haul. They retire most of their stuff @ around 200,000/k's and in the case of the one I bought (94' -14' box truck/7.3IDI diesel) it still had lots of life in it. I had to put a new trans in mine (twice... it's a long story) but I got the truck for under $3/K. You can actually go on line and look all over N.America to see what's available - http://www.uhaul.com/TruckSales/ - with pics/description etc. Most of their stuff has a service history as well. Be forewarned, U-haul is good at renting stuff but in my case at least, they are tragically inept at the sales process. In my case, they couldn't even find the truck I wanted for a couple of days then from the time I first inquired about to the time I drove it off the lot, nearly 5 weeks had passed. (stop in at Metro Toyota in Victoria just to 'have a look' at a truck and they'll have you driving it away - with a sore butt-hole to boot - in an hour or so). The trick for me was patience and taking the truck to my transmission guy for an inspection report on the trans which was deemed in need of a rebuild so they'd sell it at a much discounted price. I've got about $10/k into it as it sits. Hope this helps you or someone.
