Ambleside Boat Launch

Is the boat launch at Ambleside open these days? Anyone here know what the fees are and if there is parking available?

I'm thinking of launching a small boat there next week in the morning to try for some cap springs.

Last I checked there were only 4 parking spots so you have to be there early-no fees though.

Should be no probs with your rig.

Thanks Dogbreath, the rig I'm launching isn't my regular boat, it's a little 14.4 hourston. Is there anywhere to park if those 4 spots are full?

I haven't been looking for parking in that hood recently enough to say-there is the parking lot in the park to the west but it's a hike back to your rig-not that anyone would bother it in W Van.

If the four parking spots are full, you can park on the road along the north side of Bellevue Ave (across the tracks), facing west.
