Alberni parking

I'M looking for a close & safe place to leave my boat trl by the public ramp Clutesi ? For 2 weeks.

There's free parking up the street past the gas station (about 1-2 blocks away). I've never had a problem there and have left my truck and trailer for about 11 days.

The busier it is, the less the chance of having a problem. I have had problems before and so have friends. Even had a problem in the pay parking.

There is definatly lots of parking a few blocks from Clutesi Haven Marina. I have parked my truck and trailer there many times over the years and have never had a problem , but have heard of peaple that have on ocasion. Labour Day weekend can be bad but other than that it's usually ok. Just ask one of the launch attendants for directions.

Can anyone tell me if the large lot across from the Petro Can Station is still open for parking. Haven't been there this year and heard they may use it for something else. Thanks in advance.

The old parking lot that everyone used is sadly much more restricted, there is a Van isle ford dealer well on the way to completion. Still parking there for free but only a 1/4 as much so may be tight during the summer. That's as of last week.
