Alberni - Bamfield road

Hi Folks

Heading in to Poets Nook Aug 6th thru 9th and just wondering what condition the road is in. A current road report would be v/m appreciated. Thanks.

Just got back from out there. The road wasn't too bad. The worst part is the last stretch before the campground . I didn't want to risk it so I dropped the boat in port and had someone drive the truck and camper down.

first 10 k from port was wash boardy, most of the summer it has been , the rest was very good , several
good comments at the nook about the good road in..
just back as well.. dusty , tape up the motors if towing in

Thanks guys for the info. Going to run the boat up out of the Port and have the bother in law drive my car in.
