I heard from a buddy that this is a chinese knock off. I said who cares and his reply was you will as soon as you try and pull a full set. I guess they are not that great

If this is the same guy you would think the person would just list it as a prawn puller, not a Brutus Plus 40.

It's definitely not the Real McCoy for that price. They sell for $549 or $599. Retailers don't make much of anything on this product. I know the wholesale price on these. The same guy is listing all kinds of new scotty downriggers as well...1106's etc and has been listing them for a few months now.

Buyer beware!

Craigslist is a great fence for stolen or "illegitimately" paid for goods.... a lot of "too good to be true" priced items are on there they've likely been bought from stores with stolen/fake credit cards and then they sell this product for cash.

I don't see WHY you would get all this product and then sell it for a loss?
