Accuracy of Fish Scales (weight) at Marinas

So a thread about how accurate the marina scales are out there.
Anyone compared them to an accurate scale or tested them any other way?

Which ones weigh heavy, which ones weigh light and which are accurate?

I weighed my 15 lb cannon ball at Schooner Cove. It weighed exactly 15 lbs. New ball(?), new scale

I used to think/know that the Sunny Shores scale in Sooke was weighing light... Poett Nook seemed pretty accurate over the years.

as for the wheelbarrow-type scales at China Creek, not a big fan of those! would rather have the hook and the fish hanging up!

hahaha this was me last year. I swear it had to be aleast a 26-27 pounder or more. But nope it was 23. This happened a few times. I asked the guy sitting there one day and he said this is scale we use for the derby so its right. I didnt argue, im sure he was right.
