There is no discussion as to sentence, that would be where you would find the direction, if any, for the fine, or a portion thereof, to be payable .

Very sad that the so called "protectors of the land" were involved in this travesty. Not very good optics that members of the Gwaii Nation were directly involved in dealings with 2 of the companies that were responsible for this destruction. Apparently greed and destruction aren't solely the white mans disease. Hardly good PR for first nations wanting self governance over their historic territories. Doesn't appear that they are doing any better job of managing and protecting their resources than the greedy corporations that that raped their land in the past.
