I have the exact motor. It burns about 12 gph at 27mph. It's not super bad. He probably just does some long hauls. .

12 gph as in imperial gallons? 55.55 Liters? How heavy a boat are you running?

It's 45 litres an hour . I did the conversion in us gallons so it's just under 10 imperial gallons . 26 foot Hourston .

A litre of gas weighs 1.6312 pounds so in 900 litres of fuel alone that boat would be carrying 1,468 lb.s of fuel! in a 28 foot boat he is likely juuuuuuuuuuust a little overloaded.......
