265lbs halibut caught

Just talked to one of the guides from oakbay marine group the fish took two hours to get up and was caught out of ucuelet lodge....

Ou neighboor caught a 457 pounder a while back. It was the record but it was broken. He may have caught it sport but i am not sure i think it was caught commercialy.

He got a 457 pond hali. Up outside of quatsino sound. He owns a halibut farm. He cathces them puts them in pens fattens them up then sells em.
