Sounds like a nice boat, but from his description... I'd really want proof that a 26' boat with a 5.7L engine cruises at 26 knots using 8GPH. I'd call BS on that claim!!! I've got a boat that size, same 5.7L engine, likely a similar weight and at that speed I'm closer to 15-16GPH.

My partners last boat was a 22'er with the 5.7 and he was in the 10 to 12 gph range when doing that kind of speed.You gotta wonder.
