Managed to make it out on Sunday to the Nook, the new caretaker is great up there......Monday started out with breaking ice on the way out. We had 10lb cannonballs and couldn't make it down to where the fish where showing, took the day and picked up some black bass and a snapper off Beale. The prawning was great with only a few traps producing limits, a little shallower this time, around 240-260....crabbing was slower for us taking the three days of our trip to get our limit. Salmon really took off on Tuesday on the wall by Dixon Island 127 feet on bait and spoons, limits taken there all around 12-13lbs... looking good for the season so far.
