Will tow your rig just fine. I know guys with the same vintage 2500's that whine about gas mileage of their 6 litres and the others with the diesels and they all seem like nice trucks and none of my friends have any real complaints or problems.... unlike the F-150's

I have a 2007 D/max and it's been a great truck! (touching my forehead) Nice ride.

The 4.3, while it can be a little thirsty, is a great motor. I'm a fan of the 4.3, my wife had it in her astro, and it logged over 300,000 Kim's before the fuel pump finally went. The motor was still running strong.

Agreed- lots of torque for pulling your boat around. You should be good for a few years. Wasn't that red toyota yours?

I had an 2008 4.8L v-8. Sold it cause it didnt have much guts for towing my boat (21 feet) or trailer (even smaller)
