Curious to pick people's brains on what they feel the fair market value for a 2005 Grady-White Islander 270 would before I make an offer on this one in the coming days.

- 2023 Suzuki Dual Prop DF300 motor (1 hr, freshly installed)
- 9.9 Suzuki Kicker (unknown hours, runs)
- 15" Garmin Electronics
- 7000lb Aluminum I-beam Dual Axle Trailer (seems a bit light for the boat)
- Windlass anchor
- Spotlight
- Cover
- Very good overall condition around 8/10

Is the 7000lbs the gvwr, or the carrying capacity of the trailer? If it's the gvwr I'd be concerned.

Complete guess with little sleep and little caffeine. Is there a fridge?

Motor and controls 35-40k (is there an extended warranty 5-7 years?)
Kicker 3-4k if there is a rear steering station
Hull and enclosure in great shape 50-60k
Electronics? year? Radar? Autopilot? 3-10k?
Trailer- 4k if no EOH, 7k if there is. Less or more depending on the year of the tires, axles and brakes.

It's tough to get comparable, there are not as many islanders out there as 282, and I have been waiting 10+ minute for the old brochure to download.

I'd say 90-120k but brokers think new power and 20 year hulls are worth more than I do.

Don't know if the 2005 have poly tanks but looks like people are already replacing 2005's so something to keep in mind if it has been moored, 10-40k job if there are two tanks https://www.facebook.com/share/r/15bMZqRAbC/

@kaelc thanks for the reply. After having spend some time in the boats on used victoria and other areas forum, and seeing your posts there I was hoping you’d chime in.

I value you’re opinion as I can see you spend a lot of time looking at used boats 😂

Yes to the fridge, warranty (3+3 warranty from point of install—roughly 6 months), no rear steer, don’t have electronic specifics just yet but looks to be newer touchscreen garmin 15” fishfinder chartplotter combo, will have to check on trailer brakes, and GVWR, trailer is 2017.

Roger on the tanks.

A 2004 vintage islander with twin 150 yams sold on the sunshine coast in 2023. Was listed in the 75k range. Sat for a few months. Motors were mid hour and 5 or so years old. Looked in nice shape from afar. Did have a trailer. Don't remember the details.
