I almost think we should start a new thread for all the 9.9ht's that are up for sale recently 
So here's mine!
A 1997 XL Shaft Yamaha 9.9 4 stroke high thrust with electric start.
I wouldn't suggest that this motor is "so clean you could eat off it", yes it is used. Aesthetically, there are some knicks and bumps (why do the cowlings always look awful?), but it's mechanically prime. Starts instantly, purrs happily, See two video links below.
Now the catch - while I can provide a set of throttle cables for the motor, this does not come with the 7-pin control box or the plastic cable ends for the throttle/shift. Sorry, but they stayed on the boat for my other kicker.
But what I can provide is an engine that will get you to hell and back and will even buy you lunch!
