Convergence is IM6 graphite through & through. I have seven or 8 in varying lengths from 6'6" through 10'6". mooching & casting styles.
My favourite is the 10'6" MH 25# rated casting rod. In the mooching style, I prefer the MH 25# & H 30# rods. All the long rods have the long slow full action. The short ones are fast.
Nice light rods.

Hey Unknown, no biggie. Techniums are great rods. I have broken one 10'6" casting MH Convergence, throwing 1.5oz lead jig right at the ferrule (male-end)... Well under weight-range for the rod. Shimano did OTC exchange.
Still nice handling rods... But their Cennan is awwwwesome... only avail in casting & spinning. The 10'6"H (40#) is same action as Convergence, but tighter and a lot stronger.
